Michigan Sleep Center is at the forefront of the latest research in behavioral sleep medicine. Our clinicians are trained by Dr. Deirdre Conroy, a Clinical Professor in the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry and the Clinical Director of it's Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program.
Our sleep center is one of the few clincian groups in the nation that specializes in delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). This is the most effective treatment for adult insomnia, is gold-standard and first-line treatment recommended by leading organizations, such as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), the American College of Physicians (ACP), and the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine (SBSM).
Our treatment goes beyond superficial sleep hygiene tips like cutting coffee, reducing screentime, or trying meditation. We focus on understanding and addressing the root causes of your insomnia to provide long-term solutions for better sleep.
